"Being so long without the joys of live entertainment and now finally getting to enjoy that again I've been completely consumed by the world of opera recently. So much so, that I felt the urge to paint the most stunning venue I've experienced so far aka the Komische Oper in Berlin. I saw Mussorgsky's The fair at Sorochyntsi here. The opera is in russian and the subtitles were in german so I hadn't a clue what the hell was going on but I was entertained and the place was gorgeous."
