"This is citrus medica(Sukaattisitruuna), and this plump specimen has fascinated me since 2017 when I first saw it. At first it was the weirdest, dry flesh looking thing that I was completely baffled by. As I've been following its journey by frequently visiting the botanical gardens, I'm sorry to report that it has now started to rot. I've witnessed it growing for five years, so I wonder how long it actually has been there. Amazing colour change too. So to pay homage to this fantastic sukaattisitruuna, I now painted it. Farewell old friend💛"
